About Dr. Scott Kimball
I’m Dr. Scott Kimball—organizational psychologist, venture capitalist, and executive advisor. My work sits at the intersection of leadership psychology, disciplined execution, and long-term value creation.
For more than two decades, I’ve partnered with founders, CEOs, family offices, and private equity groups across North and Latin America to build, scale, and stabilize businesses in complex, high-growth environments. Several of these ventures have exceeded $100 million in enterprise value—not because of hype or shortcuts, but because we built real structure, aligned leadership, and durable operating systems.
My background blends rigorous academic training—a PhD in Organizational Psychology—with hard-earned experience inside boardrooms, growth-stage companies, restructurings, and exit scenarios. I specialize in helping leaders unlock enterprise value by focusing on what truly matters: clarity of vision, disciplined execution, strong governance, and teams that can perform under pressure.
Venture Capital & Investment Focus
In addition to advisory work, I am an active venture capital investor and family office operator. I manage and participate in investments across consumer packaged goods, beverage, wellness, spirits, functional nutrition, manufacturing, and emerging growth platforms. My investment philosophy is simple and uncompromising:
I work closely with founders not only as a capital partner, but as an operator-minded advisor—helping shape strategy, governance, hiring, systems, and go-to-market execution. I believe capital alone never fixes a business; disciplined leadership and sound structure do.
Deep Roots in the Spirits & Tequila World
One of my deepest areas of expertise—and personal passion—is the world of tequila and agave spirits. I have long-standing relationships throughout Mexico, particularly in Jalisco, working closely with distilleries, brand founders, operators, and distribution partners.
My experience spans:
This hands-on exposure has given me a deep respect for the cultural, operational, and regulatory complexity of the tequila industry—and the discipline required to build brands that endure rather than chase short-term trends.
Mission & Vision
My mission is clear:
To cultivate Structure, Stability, and Direction so leaders and organizations can achieve enduring success and sustainable growth.
My vision is to help build businesses—and leaders—that are resilient, ethical, and capable of creating long-term value across generations. I am particularly committed to helping founders avoid the chaos, misalignment, and value destruction that so often accompany rapid growth.
Philanthropy & Giving Back
Beyond business, philanthropy is a core part of my life and values. Through the Live Life Foundation, I actively support orphanages and vulnerable children in Mexico and Colombia, focusing on access to care, education, stability, and opportunity.
This work keeps me grounded and reinforces a belief I hold deeply: success means very little if it is not shared, and leadership carries a responsibility far beyond financial outcomes.
Life Beyond the Boardroom
When I’m not advising executives or working alongside founders, I’m usually pushing myself toward a new edge—whether in the gym, in the mountains, or exploring new parts of the world with my wife, Elvia. Growth, for me, is not just professional—it’s physical, relational, and personal.
I believe discipline creates freedom, clarity creates confidence, and well-built foundations make extraordinary outcomes possible.
